Arcade 84 is free to play in your browser. These terms are short because there is not much to govern: no accounts, no purchases on this site, no user content.
1. Who we are
Arcade 84 is a product name of, and is operated by, Elowin Labs LLC ("we", "us"). References to "Arcade 84" mean Elowin Labs LLC doing business as Arcade 84. By using arcade84.app (the "Site") you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. The games
The cabinets are original games written for this site. They are built on gameplay mechanics that have been common in arcade games since the 1970s and 1980s (maze chases, fixed shooters, paddle games and so on). They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed from the publishers of any classic game, and no classic game's name, artwork, sound or code appears here.
3. Using the Site
You may play the games, share links to them and link to the Site from anywhere. You may not copy, mirror or redistribute the Site or its games, remove any notices, interfere with the Site's operation, or use automated tools to load it at a rate no person would.
4. Scores and settings
High scores and settings live only in your browser. They are not backed up by us and can be lost when you clear site data or switch devices.
5. Affiliate links and tips
Some pages link to products on Amazon. When those links carry our affiliate tag the page says so, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Any tip you leave through the change machine goes through a third-party payment provider under its own terms and is a gift, not a purchase of goods or services.
6. Our content
The Site, its games, artwork, sounds, code and the "Arcade 84" name are owned by Elowin Labs LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms give you no rights in them beyond playing.
7. No warranty
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Games may change, break or disappear at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ELOWIN LABS LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SITE. Because the Site is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ten US dollars.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you rights these terms cannot take away, those rights are not affected.
10. Changes
We may revise these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.
